← Quiet Voice
What this is,
and what it is not.
A note on what Quiet Voice is here to do — and where its limits are.
What Quiet Voice is
- A private space to express your thoughts anonymously
- A way to discover that others across the world carry similar feelings
- A window into how philosophers, psychologists and thinkers have spoken about the human experience
- A gentle companion for moments of inner difficulty
What Quiet Voice is not
- A substitute for professional mental health care, therapy or counselling. There is no replacement for human to human connection.
- A crisis intervention service
- A medical or diagnostic tool
- A platform where your identity is ever revealed to others
"What you share here belongs only to you."
Your privacy
Your thoughts are stored anonymously — no name, no email, no identifying information is ever shown to anyone. We store your email only so you can sign in and access your own history. Your thoughts are associated with a session ID, never with your identity.
If you are in crisis
Quiet Voice is not equipped to provide emergency support. If you are in danger or need immediate help, please reach out to a crisis helpline in your country.

How Quiet Voice works — and what it doesn't do
Quiet Voice uses AI in two ways: to find writing and research from real philosophers, psychologists and thinkers that speaks to what you've shared, and to surface thoughts from others who have expressed something similar. The sources you read are real — written by real people, published in the real world. The AI helps find them and connect them to your feeling.
It does not diagnose, assess, or make any judgement about your mental health. It is a librarian, not a therapist.
Pricing
Quiet Voice is free to use right now. At some point we will introduce a small fee to keep it running — we'll give you plenty of notice before that happens, and it will always be priced to be accessible. We'd rather have you here than not.
